That year there came the idea of creating a multifunctional complex that would let its visitors see the diversity of flora and fauna of the world ocean with their own eyes.
The territory of VDNKh is a place where almost every building has a status of an architectural monument. Thus, it was very important to find a place for an aquarium so that it wouldn’t interfere with the general architectural ensemble of the complex but would naturally add to this favourite recreation area of Moscow citizens and guests
To implement such a complicated project with no analogues either in Russia or Europe we employed the best professionals. The leading architects, engineers, designers, marine biologists and other experts worked very hard for two years to realise the bold idea and make it a reality.
